- Never pull the foot switch by its wire. Try not to bend or allow carts to roll over the wire.
- Check the foot switch by depressing it and seeing that the indicator lights on the front of the console indicate properly as you depress the different position in the pedal. Position #1 Irrigation, position #2 Aspiration, and position #3 Phaco.
